Established in 1989, H动漫 has been supplying primary and secondary packaging solutions to the pharmaceutical industry for almost 30 years. Our founder, Eric Tjoa, has been an advocate of introducing new ideas and technologies to the supply chain for many years and we live and breathe this ethos every day.

In May 2020, our director corporate strategy, Dexter Tjoa was appointed as the new CEO听of H动漫.
In May 2020 we were also partially acquired by Ampersand Capital Partners, a private equity firm specialising in the healthcare听sector.听The Ampersand team assumed a majority stake in H动漫听and joined the board of directors along with our founder Eric Tjoa.
In 2018, we听expanded听our postponement packaging capabilities听in which we customise packaging in response to market demand.
In 2015, we developed听digital production registration and in-process control software听to monitor and review production quality and the overall equipment effectiveness of our lines. This enabled us to reduce the amount of paper used across our operations by 68%.
In 2013, we developed an听automated in-house printing system for labels.
In 2008, we became the first company in the world to introduce听serial number coding from blister to pallet.
In 2007, we participated in an听EU track & trace research project听involving the use of data matrix codes and RFID tags on packaging throughout Europe. This project was the first of its kind in the EU.
In 1999, we introduced online printing of听2D data matrix codes on blisters.
In 1997, we secured the patent for inline听barcode printing on aluminium foil听for blister packs.
In 1995, we introduced the polypropylene听recyclable blister听in the Netherlands.
In 1989, we became the听first company in Europe to put barcodes听on unit dose medicines.
